If a residence or new development is not serviced by a municipal sewer system the system must have an in-ground treatment and disposal system, commonly known as a septic system, which takes household wastewater away.
It’s key to have a proper septic system to ensure adequate disposal of waste in order to avoid contamination of local ground water, rivers, or oceans.
Government environmental standards are rigorous in British Columbia, and using precast concrete products are environmentally conscious choices for infrastructure projects. For industrial applications such industrial and manufacturing plants, service stations, and parking garages, where discharged water contains oil and sediment, our oil interceptor tanks help to separate oil to the top of the water. As wastewater passes through the chambers, oil particulates are tumbled over the surface, allowing them to collect and form larger globules, increasing buoyancy.
